I really appreciated how it asked before touching my contacts. It made me feel like I was still in control, which matters a lot with stuff like this. Nothing felt pushy or sneaky, just simple, clear, and respectful.

I’ve been using irl.com for a little while now, the spam situation is way better than I thought it would be. I was kind of expecting random junk messages, weird bot accounts, sketchy links, annoying promos, fake profiles, all that usual internet nonsense, but I really haven’t been getting flooded with it. When something does pop up, it seems to get blocked quickly, so the whole thing feels a lot cleaner and easier to use. It’s not totally perfect, like nothing online really is, but compared to some other sites where your inbox turns into a mess in five minutes, this has been a nice surprise.

I’ve used it a few times to see what’s going on around me and actually found a couple of good events. The search results can feel a little random sometimes, though, like it’s trying to be better than... I don’t know, it just doesn’t always show what I expected.

I used IRL to send out invites for a small meetup, and for that kind of casual plan it worked really well. I just shared the link, and my friends were able to open it without texting me back asking where to click or what to do.
It’s not something I’d necessarily call fancy, and I’m not sure how it would feel for a bigger event with lots of details, but for a simple get-together it did exactly what I needed. I’d use it again for low-stress planning.

I used irl.com for a little while, and the privacy settings seem mostly fine overall. The controls are definitely there, and you can adjust who sees certain things, but I did have to poke around more than I expected to figure out where everything was.
Once I found the settings, they seemed to work okay, at least from what I could tell. I just think they could explain the options a bit better. It’s not bad, but it’s not especially impressive either — kind of a solid 3-star experience for me.

I asked to have my account deleted and it was handled quickly with no hassle. Reading between the lines, it seems like they’ve got the process set up well because I didn’t have to chase anyone or deal with extra steps

I ended up finding this site useful for what I was trying to do. It’s not like I needed anything super fancy or complicated, just something that could help me get the job done without wasting a bunch of time, and it did that. For the price, it felt like a good value to me, especially because I actually used it and didn’t feel like I paid for something that just sat there being useless.

I reached out to support and they got back to me fast. They were helpful and had my issue fixed the same day, which was sorta nice.

I think the app is fine overall, but I got annoyed quickly by how many notifications it sends. For me, it started to feel like too much after a while.

It’s good for finding local groups and community stuff, which is nice when everything actually stays active and people bother to post updates. Not perfect, obviously, but it does the job.

I’ve found some genuinely good stuff on irl.com, which is nice when it actually lines up with what I’m into. But then other times I’m scrolling and suddenly I’m like, wait, why am I seeing this? It’s not terrible or anything, just a little hit-or-miss. I’ll be into it one minute and kind of frustrated the next. I just wish it did a better job matching my interests.

It works for the most part and I do use it, but it missed a couple of my events which was a little annoying because I only noticed later and then I had to double check everything manually just to make sure nothing else got skipped.

The app opens up fine most of the time, but am I the only one who has it crash right when I actually need to use it? It works, but it’s definitely not always reliable.

I’ve been using it for a while it feels safe enough to trust. I haven’t run into any issues so far, which is a relief. That said, I’m always a little skeptical about customer service actually being helpful if something does go wrong, so I’m glad I haven’t had to deal with them.

The interface looks okay overall, but the menus feel kind of messy and take a bit of getting used to. For what it costs, I was hoping it would feel a little cleaner and easier to navigate.

I made an account on IRL and it was painless. The email signup went through right away, the pages loaded fast, and even the little confirmation steps were clear enough that I didn’t have to stop and think. I always notice stuff like buttons taking forever or forms asking for the same info twice, and none of that happened here. Nice when setting up an account just works and doesn’t become a whole project
